
i’m natalie, a gluten free paleo girl, living in the mountains with my mountain man, our two dogs, and a feisty feline.
i found out about my gluten intolerance in early 2011. to put it simply, i’m allergic to wheat. while it was an overwhelming thought at first, adapting to a new diet wasn’t too difficult. about 6 months after finding out about my gluten intolerance, we discovered the mountain man is lactose intolerant. we found ourselves trying to juggle meals that met both our needs, which worked. kinda. so in late 2012 i decided we would go paleo – no grains, dairy, or legumes.
confession: i still sneak in cheese once in a blue moon for my food…
i decided to start this blog to share the recipes we love so other paleo and gluten intolerant foodies have more options to choose from. you certainly don’t have to be living paleo to enjoy any of these recipes, or pre-made foods that we love. but if you are, welcome to some seriously good whole food!
